Job description

Mission

As a Logistics Planner you’ll be in daily communication with our suppliers collecting the information about the forecasting in relation with our purchases activity in order to guarantee a correct transport management in quality and time, always with the aim of optimizing the cost side. You will be the link for the global logistics coordination between the fruit suppliers, the transport companies as well as the other teams and colleagues in the Headquarters in Spain, mainly the logistics department.

Role Highlights – Responsibilities

Daily contact with the suppliers to do a follow-up of estimation of the production
Perform administrative tool for the inventory control (stock, fruit in transit)
Manage and control the transport bookings & loadings from the different suppliers
Monitor and communicate with the different coolers to achieve the on-time loadings and deliveries
Ensure a maximum of the volumes to be loaded in FTLs
Daily contact and coordination between the transport companies and the logistics teams of our suppliers
Ensure and communicate all in transit loadings from the coolers to the national borders
Assist the logistics teams of our suppliers on issuing the right export documents
Coordination with the logistic department in Spain in order to provide a good customer service
Manage every topic related to logistics for Morroco
Develop and maintain a KPI dashboard (transport cost/kg, custom fees/kg, on time loadings, follow up on exported volumes vs suppliers)

Requirements

Skills

Higher studies in Economics, International Business Administration, Logistics/Import-Export Management, or similar
Languages: Arabic on native level; strong written and verbal skills in English mandatory; Spanish or French is valued
2 to 3 years of experience in a logistics position
Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel)
Excellent communication skills
Sense of responsibility and proactivity in the daily work routine
